Typhoon Roke

We had a typhoon that came through Tokyo on Wednesday.  It was crazy.  The weather was kind of dreary all day and then BAM! - the rain was really heavy, and the winds were the strongest I've ever seen.  Fortunately, I was inside with the kids in our concrete apartment building.  Earthquakes, typhoons...we are safe here!  There were a lot of broken umbrellas around Tokyo and some fallen tree branches.  However, that was really the extent of the damage.  Here is a picture of a tree that is right next to our parking space.  Hopefully it can be salvaged:
